Teacher Marking Over the Christmas Break

Christmas is supposed to be a time to unwind, relax and enjoy each other’s company, and that can be extremely hard to do if you’re a teacher with a heap of marking to do. Make sure you keep the marking in the back of your mind, but most important make sure it doesn’t affect your spirit on Christmas day.

There is bound to be plenty of family gatherings around Christmas, and marking can be a bit of a disruption, so it’s important to find time to get it done, and still enjoy Christmas and New Year’s Eve the way you are supposed to.

Get organised with a plan, perhaps in the form of a time sheet, and allocated work in various hours, whiklst you should probably makes sure you add several hours on to your plan just because you may find yourself at times with dome distractions, perhaps by family and friends.

Marking can certainly be a nightmare for teachers, but don’t let it get the best of your Christmas.
